ToX!c aka: Glor!a Buttons received her Britney Spears “Baby One More Time” cassette tape as a belated 10th birthday gift. Her life was changed forever. She would sing every Britney Song into her hair brush and at talent shows.

She started singing in grade school. Climbing to the top of the playground, she put on concerts for her classmates… though some were amused her parents thought it would be better to put her in choir. She sang in choir and as a soloist all through out school.She started writing lyrics and poetry in her notebook at age 10. Soon after graduating high school she began her feature entertaining career in 2008.

After singing Britney’s “Toxic” at cheerleading camp in high school she was given the nickname ToX!c and a star was born! Born in 1988 she grew up watching MTV & VH1 dreaming of her music videos on there. She draws inspiration and influence from the music and videos of Prince, Madonna, and countless others pop musicians of the 80’s / 90’s . The Euro Pop and Electro Vibe can be heard in ToX!c’s newest Sounds. ToX!c lives and breathes music and performance art. She’s knew from the first time she held a mic in her hand, that her heart belonged to the stage and the world of entertainment.

You may have seen her over the years Singing around the Cities of Seattle and Portland. Around the West Coast/South West. She’s done various projects as a performer, actress, and model. She has many accolades-awards under her belt.

Known for her strong stage presence and powerful soprano vibrato vocals; she’s turned several heads with her set of pipes. Dubbed “Tiny and mighty” don’t let stature fool you. She spends her free time writing music, cuddling her dogs, doing Humanitarian-Charity work for various organizations and non-profits. As a Lesbian Queer woman She is always advocating for her LGTBQIA+ community. Her biggest project has been co-hosting and co-producing “Tata’s for Toys” a benefit for Doernbecher’s children's hospital with Talk Show Personality Aaron Ross in Portland, Oregon. She dreams one day of being a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations.

I believe that love is the ultimate power. Black lives matter, ICE should be abolished, This world is meant to be filled with all races and ethnicities. You should be free to express yourself whether you are straight or LGBTQIA+, LOVE IS LOVE. AS A QUEER WOMAN, I STAND WITH MY COMMUNITY. I mean it’s 2024 EQUALITY should be a thing by now… Womxn deserve TO EARN THE SAME AS MEN. FULL EQUALITY NOW. Our personal beliefs-truths should be our own and not projected onto others. If we want the world to change we need to be the change. LIVE everyday with love in your heart and without prejudice. Be Kind to yourselves and each other

MUSIC IS MY LIFE

I hope that my music brings a sound of nostalgia to many, a familiar but new to our younger generation, and inspiration to many people so they’ll dig out the artists/songs of the 80’s …90’s that inspired me. The respect and admiration of the MTV era of artists created my dream. I. am forever thankful for the music visual pioneers.
